TeaCamp meeting with Vice-Rector of the University of Aveiro (Portugal)

Portuguese TeaCamp partners met, on the 13th of July 2010, with the Vice-rector for Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies, Professor Eduardo Silva, of the University of Aveiro (Portugal) with the aim of presenting the TeaCamp project and discuss the institutional expectations about virtual mobility. Professor Eduardo Silva was very interested with the full dimension of the TeaCamp project (teacher virtual campus: research, practice, and apply).

The TeaCamp project was disseminated in July2010 in the CIDTFF Newsletter (n.14). This important newsletter is delivered in the University of Aveiro and in all departments related to Education in Portuguese Higher Education institutions, as well as some Brazilian and government institutions. Information about the project TeaCamp has been disseminated by Juris Dzelme at the seminar "Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education and Vocational Training" in Cairo, Egypt on 16.06.10.. During the seminar Juris Dzelme presented the report "An overwiev of outcomes based assessment in the field of technical and vocational training - best practices aid to education institutions prepare for accreditation".

Meeting of Latvian College Association

Participants of the meeting of Latvian College Association (Riga, Kronvalda 1a, on 08.06.2010.) has been informed about the project TeaCamp. Juris Dzelme disseminated booklets about TeaCamp. There were 25 participants, mainly college directors.
